Tokai Formula Club (TFC)とは、東海大学でFormula SAE大会に参戦するレーシングチームとして2002年に結成されました。東海大学には、大学が提唱する4つの力「自ら考える力・集い力・挑み力・成し遂げ力」を身につけた社会に貢献できる人材を育てる教育プログラムとしてチャレンジセンターというものがあり、Tokai Formula Club はそのチャレンジセンターのチャレンジプロジェクトの一つとして、参戦するFormula SAE大会で総合優勝を目標に、チームの運営や管理、設計や製作、そして走行と、フォーミュラカーを作り上げるものつくりのプロセスを通じて、社会的実践力を身に付けることを目指して活動しています。

　Tokai Formula Club は2004年からStudent Formula Japan(全日本学生フォーミュラ大会)に継続参戦し、2006年にはFormula SAE Michigan(アメリカ)、2007年と2014年にはFormula SAE Australasia(オーストラリア)と海外のFormula SAE大会に参戦した経験もあります。

　Tokai Formula Club に所属する学生たちは目標達成のために熱心に活動に参加することで、学生たちは授業だけでは習得し得ない、卒業後の社会人生活で必要な実践的なスキル、経験をすることができ、人間としても大きく成長しています。この活動の源はレーシングカーを作りたいという学生たちの強い意志です。また、Tokai Formula Club の活動では多くの企業との強い繋がりがあります。これらの繋がりは私たちの活動には欠かせません。

Tokai Formula Club was founded 2002 as a racing team to compete in Formula SAE competitions in Tokai University.The goal of team is to aquire "Social practical ability" through a process of constructing best racing car for winning Formula SAE competitions.

Tokai Formula Club have been participated Student Formula Japan every year since 2004. Team participated international competition, Formula SAE Michigan in 2006 and Formula SAE Australasia in 2007,2014.

The students who belong to Tokai Formula Club are spending much their time on this project to achieve our goal. Student will acquire pragmatical skills that are essential working life after graduation from university. The source of activity is a studrnt's strong will to built a racing car. Also, Team is supported by many companies. These supports are very important for us.
